The timeless Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol has become of the most famous stories ever told and the perfect family-friendly festive experience. The story sees one of the most famous literary characters of all time, Ebenezer Scrooge, endure a transformative evening in which he is visited by three spirits.

As Scrooge, an elderly miser, is exposed to faded memories of his past, the brutal realities of his present and the impending possibilities, he finds a renewed sense of kindness and festive spirit just in time for Christmas day. This heartwarming tale of emotional metamorphosis and reconciliation is a spell-binding tale of greed, grief, and isolation but, above all, the spirit of Christmas.

First performed as public readings by Charles Dickens himself over 127 times, A Christmas Carol was quickly turned into a stage production in 1844. Since then, the novella has never once gone out of print, and has become one of the most performed productions of all time.
